Admin-Rec Officer (reports to Chief Administrative Officer)

 Duties/ Responsibilities including but not limited to:

  • Manage the Recreation Department including but not limited to programs, summer staff, administration
  • Municipal reception and basic administration tasks
  • Bookkeeper for MRCC Skating Rink
  • Other duties as assigned


  • Experience in Microsoft Office, letter writing, reporting and basic accounting
  • Self-motivated, organized, creative, energetic, with strong communication skills
  • Satisfactory Child Abuse Registry check and First Aid/ CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)

Term/ Pay/ Benefits:

  • 21 hours per week commencing October 1, 2019 or asap; additional hours as required and banked
  • Rate of pay dependent upon experience & qualifications
  • Benefits subject to qualification waiting period(s)
